In this problem I learnt that using decimals would be better then using division, addition, subtraction and fractions.

Living on a farm

If I grew up or lived on a farm I would love to milk the cows because I would love to make the milk and drink it to. Whenever lived on a farm I would always be responsible at milking the cows and making it.The reason I would like to be milking the cows is because I would be able to mix milk powder and water together and make milk, and when I finish making it I pour it into the milk container so that the cows can drink it.

My second favourite thing that I would like to do would be giving the cows medicine. If I got to give the cows medicine I would always be there to do that every single day. The reason I would secondly like to give cows medicine is because I wouldn't like the cows to get sores and sick. I really like cows that have nice coloured delightful skin.

My last favourite thing that I would like to do would be riding a horse. I would lastly like to ride a horse because if I got to ride on a horse I would ride through the paddock and on the field. The reason I would like to ride a horse is because it would be fun and a lot of work to push the calves or cows  into the pen.

It has been interesting to learn about what it would be like to live on a dairy farm, all the jobs you get to help with and animals you care for. But living there full time? No thank you. I think I’ll stick to the city, where I live and belong.

My Immersion Assembly writing

Do you know what a immersion Assembly is? An Immersion Assembly is when our teachers dress up in costumes act, dance and perform items about our inquiry this term.When it is the end of the holidays Pt England school has a immersion Assembly on the first day of school. On the 20th of July 2015 Pt England school had an immersion Assembly. In the Assembly The teachers are always amazing and happy that all the students are back at school to learn and have fun.

My favourite thing about immersion Assemblies is when teachers could have amazing surprises for the students and when it could always be fun. I really love this years topic because we get to do a lot if fun and exciting things. But my most popular thing about immersion Assemblies is when everybody gets to meet up again and see each other.In Immersion Assemblies the teachers are always funny and grateful of what they do for the students.

My favourite teams were teams 1 and 5. In team 1 the teachers that were in the movie was Miss Wild, Miss Dwyer, Miss Lal, Miss Belt and Miss George. My favourite part of team 1s was when they were all going to the markets and when they were scrambling chocolate coins. When the chocolate coins were gliding across the hall I was really amazed because it was yummy chocolate. The teachers that made the movie had done a lot of work to do the movie for the students.I really love when parents can see what  happens in the Assembly because then they will know what our new topic is going to be and so they can learn new things to.

For team 5 I really enjoyed Watching the play and I really liked how Mr Barks was dressed up as a lady and was talking funny. I really liked team 5 the most because it was the funniest team out of all of the teams. Team five is one of the greatest teams that was seen from me because it was really enjoying and joyful to watch and it was also a great play to watch and learn about. I liked how shop keepers went into the house and was trying to sell things to Mr barks and Mr Wiseman and that Mr barks and Mr Wiseman had no money to buy anything.

My favourite part about the whole assembly is when every body got to see their friends and teachers. In the beginning of the assembly Mr Burt was selling things like a basket, a chocolate bar, a rugby ball and a teddy bear for fake money that the teachers had planned for all of the students. I was hoping to get some money from Mr J but then I didn't want to because then I might of got picked and had to stand up in front of the whole school and would of been shy.

When I saw all of my friends at the assembly I was happy,surprised and excited because I was going to have a lot of fun with them and had great times and attitude with them. When I am with my friends we always use our WITS, be kind and be extra happy to others. ( Always have JOY in you and be happy.)
